Rome/Italy I've been to Rome every year for the past four years and it never gets old. There's so much to see and do that one vacation trip is not enough to thoroughly absorb the Eternal City's magnificence. Of course some people will complain about the crowds or the grafitti but so what - you're in one of the greatest cities that ever existed!
 
Victoria BC/Canada We dined here one night whilst in Victoria for a weekend, and after reading great reviews on tripadvisor, we decided to go! The food was superb! If you love garlic, try the Fire roasted garlic bulb on rosemary flat bread with cambozola cheese! I had the special meat feature, spaghetti and meatballs, and it was great!!
 
Barbados Southern BarbadosThe Silver Sands Resort is off the typical travel hustle and bustle but the hotel was very nice for a 3 star rating. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Bring your hair dryer and wine/beer opener. Mini market on the grounds was very reasonable and handy. The beach is rougher than further north on the west coast but not impossible to swim in. The pools were lovely. The property was very clean the staff especially Monica in the front office went out of their way to make our 16th anniversary vacation memorable.
